The Dance Club of Wellington, St. Charles, and Columbus School for Girls is a six-week collaborative program for fifth and sixth grades. The program location is rotated between each school, and all participants have an opportunity to meet each other. In the classes, students are taught to be young men and ladies that can appropriately interact with each other in a social setting. These participants are taught essential social skills that transition them into adulthood such as shaking hands and introducing themselves. In the meantime, they enjoy learning how to fast and slow dance to popular, modern music.
